Elizabeth Francis Queen Hood

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Elizabeth (Libby) Francis Hood, age 91, passed away on January 19, 2016. Libby was born March 11, 1924 to Rosamond Rice Queen and William Kirk Queen in Ashland, Kentucky. She married William Bradford Hood on April 4, 1947. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son Randy Hood; daughter Sue Harms; grandchildren Jennifer Striker, Rochelle MacHarris, Amy Harms, Jeffrey Harms, George Harms IV; great-grandchildren Brodin and Dexter, Alexandria, George V. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bradford Hood; sons, William Danny Hood and Dexter Bradford Hood; granddaughter Amorette Hood; parents; her sister and brother. A viewing will be held Friday, January 22, 2016, 7-8:00 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, followed by a graveside service, Saturday, January 23, 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South.
