Ella Pauline Dignan

June 22, 2012 — June 28, 2014

Ella Pauline Dignan passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of June 28, 2014 from Dandy Walker Syndrome. Ella was born on June 22, 2012 to Matt and Angela Dignan. She was our sweet angel from the moment she was born until she took her last breaths. Ella had a very big heart and a very strong determination in all she did. She never stopped smiling throughout her many trials. Ella loved being outside, whether it was playing in the sandbox, swimming or helping her Daddy in the yard, she was always excited to go out and enjoy the world. Ella will especially be missed by her best friend and big brother, Brayden, who was always by her side. Ella is survived by her parents, siblings Marian (13), Brayden (3) and J.J. (8 mos), as well as her grandparents James and Susan Dignan and Jack and Vickie Cowan. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Ella touched everyone she met with her bright eyes and big smile. And she has left an incredible void in our lives. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Kauri Sue Hamilton School and Melinda Stevens for the time they devoted to Ella. Also, to the doctors and nurses at Jordan Valley Medical Emergency Room for their tireless efforts to save our little girl. Additionally, the family would like to thank Jamie Greer and Jason Thompson for their support and love during this very difficult time. Services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014, 2:00 PM at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Interment immediately following services at Redwood Memorial Estates.
