Elsie Howe Snell March 26, 1922 ~ August 28, 2012 Elsie Howe Snell, 90 years young, passed away Aug. 28, 2012, due to complications of a fall. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at the River Fourth Ward, 1229 West Country Creek Dr. (10775 South) South Jordan, Utah, where there will be a viewing preceding the funeral at 9 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Lovell, Wyo., Cemetery. She was born March 26, 1922 in Kane, Wyo., and has lived the last 45 years in Sterling before recently moving to South Jordan, Utah. She married Cecil Wasson Snell Oct. 3, 1945 in the Salt Lake Temple; he preceded her in death. They were happily married for 52 years. Elsie was a wonderful friend to all who knew her. She brightened everyone's life through her beautiful music and wonderful sense of humor. Survivors include her sons, Ronald and wife Karenne of Parker and Wes and wife Sheri of South Jordan, Utah. Additional survivors include brothers, Louis Grant and Leonard Riley Howe; and sister, Lucy Lou Snell; Elsie was blessed with nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. We appreciate all the love and care you have shown to Elsie and her family. Arrangements were under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home, Taylorsville, Utah.
