Emmie Rose Buhler

Emmie Rose Buhler was born on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018, at 3:44 p.m. to parents Jake and Shalise at the Riverton Hospital. She weighed 9 pounds, and was 21 inches long. Emmie Rose blessed us with four precious months of her sweet spirit and dimpled smile. Her last days on earth were very special, they were spent with cuddles from all of her grandparents, and lots of love and kisses from her brother & sister. She spent the evening quietly with her parents and slipped away to her heavenly home around 7:00 p.m. while in their arms. Minutes after her passing, a light rain began to fall. Her mom and dad pulled her in close to remind her that she is loved and how much she will be missed. The light rain slowly turned into a thunderstorm. Heavy rain came pouring down as if tears of joy were coming from the other side of heaven to welcome her home! Emmie experienced so much love everyday from her family, especially from the twins. She was constantly being poked at, sat on or squished. She often would wake up to find different toys, blankets, binkies, bottles, snacks or anything else the twins could think of that "bay-bee" might need for the day. They loved to help take care of their baby sis. Emmie is deeply loved by her mommy and daddy, brother & sister Jace Jacob & Olivia Kate, grandparents Gary & Arlene Buhler, Rick & Marsha Hoggard, great-grandparents Arnold & Nelene Ainge, Luana Buhler, aunts and uncles, her cousins and many, many more. Jake and Shalise look forward to the day when they will be reunited as a family, to be able to hold her close again and raise their sweet daughter. "We'll hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in our arms- we love you, Emmie Rose" A viewing will take place Wednesday August 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road Taylorsville, Utah 84123, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Emmie will be laid to rest in Babyland at the Bountiful City Cemetery 2224 South 200 West Bountiful UT 84010.
