Eric Christepher Preston

Eric Christepher Preston, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014, from heart complications. Eric was born to Clearance and Ethel Preston on September 18, 1971, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended Tayorsville High School. Eric married Kathleen Begay on March 22, 1997. His favorite hobbies were fishing, recreational shooting, listening to music, and creating his BBQ sauce for family get-togethers. Eric gave 17 years of loyal service to SHRED-IT, beginning as a route driver and working his way up to a regional Shred-it Technician. Survivors include his devoted wife of 19 years, Kathleen Preston; son, Jerrell Naa'taa'nii Christopher Preston, age 10; brother, Clarence Preston Jr.; sister, Evelyn Denise Preston; nieces, Kemi Chavez, Rainess Akeju, Joie Wilson, and Jasmine K. Walton; and nephews, Kahlil Samul and Malik Samul. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Jacqueline Anne Akeju A light luncheon and gathering will follow services at the church. Donations would be greatly appreciated to assist the family during their grieving process.
