Erma Belle Downing Dean Erickson

Erma Dean Erickson 1920 ~ 2012 Erma Dora Belle Downing Dean Erickson was born December 31, 1920 to Roy Cecil Downing and Christina Matilda Dewald in St. John, Kansas, passed away June 4, 2012 in Sandy, Utah. She joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and moved to Utah to marry the love of her life, Lyndon Arthur Dean, in the Salt Lake Temple October 2, 1942. They were blessed with four beautiful, delightful children that loved them very much. After the death of Lyndon in 1984, she married Wayne Erickson March 26, 1988; he preceded her in death. She was active in the LDS Church and served in many callings until about a year ago. She is survived by 1 daughter and 3 sons: Diana (Tony) Fuller, Mark (Shauna) Dean, Rodney (Sally) Dean, and Blair (Shelly) Dean; 23 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 8, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at the Granger West 8th Ward, 3305 South 3960 West, West Valley City, Utah. Viewings will be held Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment will take place at the Woodruff Cemetery, Woodruff, Utah after the services.
