Erma Roseltha Hurst

Our beloved mother, grandmother, G.G., aunt and sister returned to the loving arms of her Savior on January 27, 2018 surrounded by family. G.G. was born on October 4, 1922 in Price, Utah to Clarence Powell and Lillie Olson. She endured many earthy trials with strength and fierce determination, always rising above. She was independently successful when she opened her own beauty salon. Her nine children and many grandchildren were her pride and joy. She completed 2 LDS missions as well as serving the Lord with diligence and faith in church callings and service to those in need until the end. She is survived by 9 children: LeAnn (Ali), Linda, Barbara (Harvey), Ron (Ann), Carl (Ann), Suellen, Harold (Cindy), Lillie, Shaunna (Rick); 45 grandchildren; 130 great-grandchildren; her sister Nelma; and numerous nieces and nephews. Our family would like to thank Tosha, Juniper and Beck from The Good Shepard Hospice and her angels Spencer, Whitney, Miguel, Charity and others. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at the Welby 8th Ward, 8385 South 4800 West. Viewings will be held Tuesday, Jan. 30th, 6:30-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and again prior to services at the church from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
