Esther Robins Larsen Oliverson "Granny O"

Born August 9, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Herbert Raymond & Edna Robins Larsen. Married Robert James Oliverson August 9, 1958, joining our two families together for time & all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple, December 11, 1959. "Peek into my treasure chest and you will find: ALL of my children; 21 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren." Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. All things near and dear to me I learned in MANY church callings throughout my life and the 19 years spent serving in the Jordan River Temple: I am a Child of God. He hears me when I pray. To listen to the still small voice. That kindness begins with me. When I am helping I'm happy. To do the things the Lord commands. Where love is, there God is also. There is beauty all around, because Heavenly Father loves me! Thank you Bob, for your great example and your patience with me. Preceded in death by parents; daughter Pamela; four grandchildren; three brothers; two sisters. Survived by Eternal Companion Robert; children, Brenda (Fred) Yost, Cory Haight, Diane (Terry) Sugden, Gayle (Ron) Eavenson, Randy (Judy) Oliverson; and all their families; and Scott McLaughlin; brothers, Raymond & Grant Larsen. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at Kearns East Stake Center, 4300 West 4715 South. Viewings will be held Tuesday, June 7th, 6-8:00 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and again prior to services at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
