Evelyn H. Gelb 1922 ~ 2011 Evelyn Hendrickson Gelb died June 15, 2011 in Sandy, Utah. Born July 3, 1922 in Farnum, Idaho, to Joseph Allen and Luella Christiansen Hendrickson. Married Richard Edmund Gelb June 10, 1948; later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She worked in the bakery at the first Albertsons in West Valley City, Utah and then at Littons for several years. She lived at Romney Plaza, near her sister, Stella, for many years. She was very active in her church callings and served a mission in Morristown, NJ. Survived by her daughter, Kay; 8 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Lucille; brothers, Ken and Allen. Preceded in death by husband in 1982; and son, Eugene on August 13, 2008; granddaughter, Lindsey; brother, Elden; sisters, Una and Stella. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 18, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at the Tooele City Cemetery. A viewing will be held Saturday, 11:00 am - 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.
