Evelyn LaVee Black

January 25, 1931 — January 30, 2016

Evelyn Black, our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, returned to her Heavenly Father after living a full and wonderful life. Evelyn was born in Bingham Canyon, Utah to Stella Terrill and Lynn Sandstrom. She was married to Richard Black for many years and raised six children; four girls and two boys. Evelyn was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, attended the temple regularly and enjoyed visiting with members from her ward. Evelyn was always happy and very giving. She also had the sweetest voice anyone has ever heard. Evelyn is survived by her six children; Judy (David) Estus, Bonnie Watson, Richard (Denise) Black, Barbara Ohm, Robert Black, and Jeannine Jensen; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her mother; two brothers, Shirl and Dale; and granddaughter, Dani Black. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2016, 7:00 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where a viewing will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. prior to services. Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 4th, 10:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. Place of Birth:Bingham Canyon, UtahPlace of Death:Salt Lake City, Utah
