Evelyn May Rupp

June 2, 1927 — February 18, 2019

Evelyn May Rupp, age 91, of West Jordan, Utah, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2019. Evelyn was born on June 2, 1927, in Salt Lake City, Utah to LeRoy and Orlea Edgar. Evelyn married Willis Rupp on June 7, 1945 and they enjoyed their life together until his passing in 1988. Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Charleen Young (Craig), Erda, UT, Pamela Williams, West Jordan, UT, Sherrie Partridge (Ed), West Haven, UT, and Lorraine Rupp, Murray, UT; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and grandson. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a picture of beauty inside and out and was always concerned with the well being of her family and friends. Willis and Evelyn operated Rupp Jeep Sales and Service until they retired to Flaming Gorge.


A visitation will be held Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. Interment will be February 25, 2019, at Larkin Sunset Gardens for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the MS Foundation or the charity of your choice.
