Fae Labrum Ross

Bennion, UT Fae Labrum Ross passed away February 18, 2014 at the age of 89. Fae was born May 1, 1924 in Bennion, Utah to John Wilford and Orie Luella Boyce Labrum. She married William Harold Ross October 10, 1946 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple November 19, 1947. Fae served in many leadership callings in the LDS Church including missions with Harold to the Philippines, Manila Mission and the Laotian Branch in Taylorsville. She also served in the Jordan River Temple and as Relief Society president at the Bennion Care Center. Fae and Harold owned Ross' Market for 10 years and she worked at J.C. Penney's and Wal-Mart. She retired when she was 86 years old. Fae loved people and many people loved her. Her family was the most important thing to her and they will miss her greatly. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Harold Ross; parents; and all six of her brothers, sisters and their spouses. Fae is survived by her children: Kathy (Dale) Magleby, Carolyn (Reed) Swain, Stanley (Barbara), Grant (Nanci); 17 grandchildren and their spouses; and 40 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff at Carrington Court for their loving care of Mom. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the Mountain View Ward, 5980 South 1300 West. Viewings will be held Friday, February 21, 2014, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
