Fayora "Faye" Bell Miller Petersen passed away on March 27, 2017, at the age of 101 of natural causes. Faye was born November 13, 1915, the oldest child of James Deloyd and Beatrice Alice Mounteer Miller in Jamestown, Idaho. Her childhood was spent in Murray, Utah and attended Murray High School, which in 2016 celebrated the high school's 100th anniversary and honored mom as one of the Grand Marshall's of the Murray City 4th of July Parade. She married Dahle Bennion Petersen on March 16, 1936. He passed away in 1971. Mom worked very hard her whole life, but considered her family as her greatest accomplishment. She is survived by her daughter Carol Hill; and her six sons; Dahle (Tammy), Val (Ruthann), Neil (Julynne), Blaine (Barbara), Vaun (Leslee) and Jerry (Cyndy); 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Bill; and sisters, Peg, Dede, June, Ileen, Bonnie and Ann. She was preceded in death by her husband; brother Roy; son-in-law Wes; and daughter-in-law Muggs. She has chosen a graveside service which will be Monday, April 3rd, 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South.
