Filomena (Pannunzio) Ahlstrom 1939 ~ 2012 Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend passed away June 26, 2012 with loved ones by her side. Fil was born August 28, 1939 to parents, Henry and Antoinette (Xaiz) Pannunzio in Tooele, Utah. She graduated from Tooele High School in 1957. She and Billy eloped to Las Vegas, Nevada where they married on June 26, 1959. They were married for 53 years and were two peas in a pod. Fil enjoyed Italian cooking, crafts, home decorating, flying in Billy s Cessna 170, traveling (especially the most recent trip to Italy), her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her passion was taking care of her beautiful family. While Fil was hesitant of trying new adventures, she went boating, snowmobiling and flying among many others. Her favorite was traveling with Billy in their airplane around the western states and Baja Mexico with friends and family. She was Billy s co-pilot and always will be. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John. Fill was a devoted mother and wife who dearly loved Billy. Fil is survived by her husband, Billy; her children, Rick (Laurie), Mike (Cynthia), Anissa, her grandchildren Brandon, Brooke, Teisha and Tiffany (Booth); her great-grandchildren, Boston Weston and Olivia; and her brother, Hank (Mary). She will be greatly missed and will always be Billy s flower. There will be a gathering of family and friends held Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at the McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 2, 2012 at noon at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 3580 West3650 South (Lancer Way), West Valley City, Utah. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 180 South 300 West, Salt Lake City, Utah Hobbies:Loved traveling, Italian cooking, crafts, decorating and being with family and friendsOccupation:Homemaker
