Frances Helma Brown Marsing

November 20, 1932 — February 23, 2018

Heaven gained a remarkable angel, as our most beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Frances Helma Brown Marsing, departed from this earth on February 23, 2018. Frances was born on November 20, 1932 to William Harry and Rachel Frances Tuckey Brown. She married her eternal sweetheart Teddy Lavon Marsing, on August 31, 1951 in the Salt Lake Temple. Frances knew how to enjoy every moment of life! She loved getting together with her 11 friends from her 8th grade school days, enjoying each other's company nearly every month for over 60 years. She loved her many years of being an Avon Representative as she reared her children, and beyond. She especially loved volunteering at the Jordan River Temple in her later years. She was always positive and upbeat, and loved her family with all her heart. We will always cherish memories of her desire to pull her trailer camping after her sweetheart passed on, so she could continue the family tradition of enjoying time together in the beautiful Uinta Mountains during each summer. She loved 4-wheeling and horseback rides in the mountains (even in her 70's she'd say, "Just pull the 4-wheeler over by the horse so I can climb up on it, and then be able to get on the horse."). Our entire family and friends will miss her drive-up hot chocolate window while camping. She never turned down a card game with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved going to their sports games and dance recitals, feeling so proud of each of them. She cherished the friendship and love of her dear sister Darlene (Dee Dee). She has missed her sweetheart since his passing in 1990, and we know her reunion with him, her daughter and parents has been glorious! All those who knew and loved her so much will dearly miss her. She is survived by sons, Craig (Leslie) Marsing, Steven (Sue) Marsing; sister, Darlene Coleman; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Paula Fjeldsted; great-grandson William Monrad Marsing; and sister Evelyn Caldwell. A funeral will be held in her honor Saturday, March 3, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where a viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30-10:45. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens. Place of Birth:Midvale, UtahPlace of Death:Murray, Utah
