Francine Monique Martinez

Francine M. Martinez Loving Daughter & Mother Francine Monique Martinez, a loving mother who touched the hearts of many, was taken from us September 1, 2013. Born March 3, 1994 in Lindsay, California, to Marco Acevedo and Lorie Ann Martinez. She moved to Utah at age five and turned out to be a mischievous young girl. Her grandmas, Angelica Martinez and Felicitas Flores, took care of her, like she was their own daughter. She lived with her brothers and sisters , Roland, Isaiah, Angel and Alyssa, and stepfather, Roland Garza. As she grew she came to be a very caring and kind woman. She had many loving friends, Monica Espinoza being her best friend since first grade. She was artistic and dreamed of opening her own cafe/bakery. She attended West High School and met her boyfriend, Charlie Mai, in a club. She had two lovely children with him, Dominic and Kylee Mai, who will always love their mother. She lived a very happy life and was loved by many. Her smile brought joy. She will never be forgotten and dearly be missed by everyone. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 6, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 715 West 300 North, Salt Lake City, Utah. Viewings will be held Thursday, 6:00 p.m., with Rosary, 7:00 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church, 9:45 a.m. Interment, Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
