Francis Ruth Weeden Kindig

On November 1, 2015 our sweet gentle Mom passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Born November 9, 1923 in Murray to Fred and Leona Weeden. In 1941, Ruth married Cloyd C. Kindig. Together they had 7 children. She was a wonderful mother who graced us with her many beautiful crocheted treasures. She loved the Jazz and rarely missed a game. She took great delight in winning all who played Gin Rummy with her. She was truly loved by everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Survived by brother Donald Weeden; children Beverly Thorkihlsen, Rick (Debbie), Virginia Le Blanc, Barbara Kindig, and Mark; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband Cloyd; son Steven; daughter Marilyn; granddaughters Brenda and Aubrey. Graveside services will be held, Saturday, November 7th, 2:30 p.m. at Murray Cemetery, 5490 S. Vine Street. A viewing will be held prior to services, 1:00-2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Rd.
