Frank Duane Roberts, 94, passed away March 11, 2018. He was born to Wilford and Margaret Roberts, and was raised in Idaho. During WWII he served in the United States Navy. He married Willa Billie' Ransom. They had four children, eleven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and a few great-great-grandchildren. He was a machinist, and retired from the Union Pacific Railroad. He was patient, kind, humble, witty, very talented and skilled at many things, and a great mentor. He was amazing! He loved reading, learning, fishing, guitars, old music, horses, dogs, cars, trains, and most of all, his family. He is very beloved! We will miss him and his wit, sense of humor and wisdom very much! Survived by one brother John (Taya); only daughter Karen (Kelly); daughter-in law Verna (Bob); grandchildren: Shawn, Jeff, Cindy, Jesse, Dan, Chandelle, Crystal, Shanin, Skyler, Shalise and their families; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; wife; three sons: Danny, Rob, and Wade; granddaughter Tuesday; great-granddaughter Chaylea; siblings: Darwin, Wanda, Ferrel, Marion, Bonnie, and Wylene. Viewings will be held Friday, March 16, 2018, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and again Saturday, March 17th, from 2-3:00 p.m. at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave, Blackfoot, Idaho. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the Groveland Cemetery.
