Franklin L. Hansen

Franklin L. Hansen, 84, of Magna, UT, passed away at his home with his family by his side. He will be greatly missed. Frank loved the outdoors, spending his time hunting, camping, fishing and teaching his family the mastery of gardening. He was also an accomplished woodworker and loved working in his woodshop. All of his creations surround us and will remind us of him every day. Frank was married for 64 years to his sweetheart, Shirley and worked 33 years at Kennecott. Frank was preceded in death by his mother; father; son Alan; brother; two sisters; and several of his favorite pets. Survived by his wife Shirley; daughters Diana (Dave), Janet, Julie (Anthony); 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and his dog Duke. We will celebrate his life on Friday, February 2, 2018, with a viewing at McDougal 4330 South Redwood Road from 12-1:00 p.m. followed by graveside services at 1:30 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South.
