Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Franklin Ridd Haslam, passed away February 10, 2015 in West Valley City, Utah. He was born July 26, 1931 in Hunter, Utah, to Matthew Ridd and Elva Moesser Haslam. He married Gayle Edler; they later divorced. He married Peggy Haslam December 30, 1977 in Provo, Utah. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. After many years of service with the Insurance Services Office, he retired. He was a life-long member of AMA, SAM, and the Utah State Air Modelers Association. Lin looked forward to the family's "annual pumpkin carve" for which he grew his giant pumpkins. He will be missed. He is survived by his wife, Peggy; children: Jimmy (Shelly) Haslam; son Robin (Jackie) Haslam; Linda Haslam; stepchildren: Mike Tracy, Steve Tracy; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, John "Jack" (Sharon) Haslam; sister, Diane Haslam. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Renn Haslam; stepdaughter, Cori Casper. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at the Hunter 3rd Ward, 5600 West 3700 South. Viewings will be held Friday, February 13, 2015, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
