Garven Ray Daybell, 83, passed away April 24, 2014 in Taylorsville, Utah. He was born August 5, 1930 in Magna, Utah, the youngest child of Ernest and Ednal Clyde Daybell. He married Zelda Jeanne Bowden on August 16, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple. Garven and Jeanne owned and operated Daybell's Photography Studio in West Valley City, Utah for more than 30 years. He served faithfully in numerous church positions throughout his life never refusing a calling. He was very excited for a joyous reunion with his beloved Jeanne, who passed way 28 months ago. Garven is survived by sons, Bryan (Marlene) and Marc (Marcia); daughter, Heidi (Gary) Van Tress; sister, Betty Gerber; 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne; daughter, Robyn Valencia; brother, Clyde; sister, Reve Collings. We would like to thank those who have provided loving care during these last seven weeks, especially the wonderful nurses and staff at Inspiration Hospice and Legacy Village. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at the Taylorsville 4th Ward, 4310 South 3200 West where a viewings will be held Sunday, April 27, 2014, 5-7 p.m. and Monday, 12:30- 1:40 p.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
