Gary B. Peterson

On Tuesday, January 30, 2018, Gary Peterson, husband, father, son, brother and friend, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 82. Gary will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend, Alice Peterson, and their children, Burtell (Patti) Peterson, Annette (Curtis) Ashworth, and Robert (Kenra) Peterson, by his brother Wade (Karen) Peterson, sister Joann (Ned) Allred. Gary will also be remembered by 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and dear friends. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, sister, oldest son, and great-grandson. Gary and Alice were married July 15, 1957 in Ely, Nevada and later solemnized December 19, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple. Gary was currently a member of the LDS 19th ward. Gary loved the outdoors and made many memories with his wife and children throughout the years. One of his greatest joys was spending time in Elko, Nevada with his dear friend and brother in law Ace Mulliner. Gary was good at many sports and loved to bowl. Gary had a great sense of humor and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A viewing will be held on Friday February 2nd, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 3rd, 12:00 noon at the Taylorsville 19th Ward, 2030 W. Chateau Ave (5225 S). Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates. Place of Birth:Mt.
