Geneva O'Neal, 75, passed away peacefully on the morning of November 13th at home surrounded by her loving family. Geneva was born on October 22, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah to James and Catherine O'Neal. Geneva was the third of nine children. She graduated from West High School and attended the LDS Business College where she earned her degree in business. Geneva worked for the Salt Lake County Assessor's Office for over 30 years and retired in 2008. Geneva loved to travel and enjoyed studying the history of the world. She will be remembered for her loyalty to family, her laugh and chocolate cake. She is survived by her son Courtney Lee Farrior (Beatrice); grandchildren Nichole, Courtney Jr. and Derrick; great-grandsons Noah and Marlo; her sister Bernice Crosby; brothers Walter (Vera) Willard and David O'Neal; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers. Geneva cherished the lunch dates with her nephew, Brandon O'Neal and looked forward to the visit and fruit baskets she would get from her nephew, James O'Neal. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, November 21, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.
