George Allen Eliason 1933 ~ 2012 George Allen Bud Eliason peacefully passed away on April 6, 2012 to return to his Heavenly Father. He was surrounded by his loving wife Inge of 51 years; his 3 daughters; son-in-law and grandchildren. Allen or Bud as he was affectionately known, was born on January 13, 1933 to George and Cynthia Eliason in Hyrum, Utah. He was the third of five children. Allen served on a LDS Mission to Denmark, where he met Inge Andersen, who was also serving on a LDS Mission. After his mission he served his country in the US Army and after that, enjoyed a long career as a Pharmacist. Allen and Inge were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on December 2, 1960 and had 3 daughters. Allen had a love for music and was very talented in the arts. He had a beautiful voice and was often invited to sing in church meetings. Allen loved his family and was known as Papa to his grandchildren. He will truly be missed by all that knew him. Survived by his wife; 3 daughters: Linda Harmes; Lisa Fangupo; Lynette (Brent) Lund; 6 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; brother: Burt (Marlene) Eliason; sisters: Joyce (Lloyd) Baer; Jolene (Richard) Merrill and Deanna (Frank) Metcalf. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Viewing will be Tuesday, 6-8:00 p.m. and again Wednesday, 1-1:45 p.m. also at McDougal s. Interment; Redwood Memorial Estates.
