George Eugene Tully

Our beloved father, grandfather, cousin and friend, George Tully, passed away this January 24, 2019. He was born March 13, 1937 in Hanna, Wyoming to George and Elvera Tully.

George was known to many for his sense of humor and his kind heart. He attended the University of Wyoming, earning a Petroleum Engineering Degree. After a career as an Aero-Space Engineer in Salt Lake City Utah, he retired to the peace and tranquility of Wyoming, spending his final decades on the ranch where he’d been raised. George was a quiet and humble man, more at home with what God and nature had given him than all the technological comforts of the modern world. That was George.

He is survived by his children; Doug, Diane, Wendy and Nathan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his cherished wife, Sheila.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb 1st, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Viewing at noon. Service at 1 PM. Interment to follow at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South.
