Georgia celebrated her 61st birthday on the 16th with her family at Cracker Barrel; she got sick the next day and ended up going to the hospital. She was diagnosed with pneumonia, which turned into sepsis. She fought so hard for 12 days but was called home to be with her Heavenly family.
Georgia really enjoyed making all kinds of crafts, especially sewing and making things for everyone she knew, everything from making her daughter Tina’s wedding dress and the flower girl dresses for the wedding to planning the baby shower for her last grandchild, Evarain, to making and hand embroidering pillowcases for each one of her grandchildren. She was so talented when it came to crafting and always had creative ideas. She loved spending time with family and coming up with ideas for her next project. She was so excited to go to her first grandchild’s (Kage & Tika) wedding coming up in November.
Georgia is preceded in death by her dad, Herman Ennis; mom, Elain Lemonn; and sister Nina.
Georgia is survived by her ex-husband and best friend, Jerry R. Thompson; brothers Bill (Rosemary) and Marty; her three children, Jerry (Anna), David (Tasha) and Tina (Joe); grandchildren, Kage (Tika), Jade, Skiler, Aliza, Jacob, Jacks, Abby & Evarain; and so many nieces; nephews; and many friends.
