Gerald K. Skinner 1939 ~ 2013 Gerald K. Skinner passed away November 18, 2013 of natural causes. He was born December 27, 1939. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda (Gunnell) Skinner and their seven children: Thad (Wendy) Skinner, Nichole (Matt) Earl, Adrena (Kevin) Wall, Reese (Cobra) Skinner, LaDawn (Bill) Dubbeld, Dwight (Amber) Skinner, Monique (Kevin) Forman. He has 20 grandchildren: Janae Figgins, Joshua Wall, Renee Franklin, Megan Simmons, Katelyn Earl, Shelby Simmons, Brin Baxter, Jade Wall, Breeze Reeder, Kayden Forman, Deven Skinner, Braxton Skinner, Jaxon Earl, Tegan Skinner, Bray Skinner, BreAnna Skinner, and Britton Forman. He is preceded in death by three granddaughters: Alexa Dubbeld, Robin Simmons, Natasha Dubbeld. He had eight great-grandchildren: Kaden Figgins, Erica J. Figgins, Logan Wall, Kamry Figgins, Lukus Wall, Cassadi Figgins, Landon Wall, and Dannyielle Franklin. He deeply loved his grandchildren and enjoyed any time spent with them. He is survived by his four siblings: Maurine (Morris "Bud", deceased) Howell, Reuel (Charlotte) Skinner, Leon (Janet, deceased) Skinner, Arvin (Jane) Skinner. A viewing will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road in Taylorsville, Utah. Another viewing will be held Saturday morning, November 23, 2013, at the Williams/Thatcher LDS Ward Building, 2060 Niter Bench Road, Grace, Idaho beginning at 9:30 a.m. The funeral will begin at 12:00 noon. Interment will be at the Cleveland Cemetery. Gerald taught his family to work hard and to love our Savior, Jesus Christ. We all love him and will miss him dearly. Now let's go fishin'!
