Gilbert Manuel Sisneros

June 20, 1937 — March 31, 2014

Our dad, grandpa, brother and uncle Bobo, fell peacefully asleep in death March 31, 2014 surrounded by his family. Dad was born to Paul and Mary Sisneros, June 20, 1937 and grew up in Spring Canyon and Price, Utah with his brothers and sisters. He married Mary Lou Trujillo January 12, 1957 ( our dear mom fell asleep in death October 1, 1999). Dad loved camping, fishing, taking his grand kids to Disneyland and listening to Mexican music. Dad was always there for support or to lend a hand (or a few dollars) and to offer a word or two of correction when needed. Dad had a great sense of humor and was an expert storyteller. Dad loved all his grand kids: Joe, Celeste, Adrian, Thomas, Steve, Daniellia, Amanda Lou (her number was on speed-dial), Michael, Ashley, Andrew, Sterlene, Phillip (whom he especially loved), Vincent and Vanassa and 23 great-grandkids, who gave him the twinkle in his eyes. Dad often shared his favorite bible verse with us, Proverbs 3:5,6 "Trust in Jehovah with all your heartand he will make your path straight". A special thank you to our sister Kim for taking great care of dad, and to his friends at U of U Dialysis, Albertson's and Dee's for all the special attention you gave dad, he loved it. A big kiss goes to Face who made dad happy. There will be a Memorial service for Gilbert on April 12, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 2240 South 600 East, Salt Lake City. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home. Place of Birth:Price, UtahPlace of Death:Salt Lake City, UtahOccupation:Facilities Manager
