Glen Claude Hensley

May 5, 1932 — May 10, 2021

Glen was born on May 5, 1932, to Anna and James Hensley in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Married Jean Gale on May 17, 1952. Owned H & H Waste Paper until selling it to Ace Disposal, then worked for Ace until retiring.  He served in the US Army from 1952 to 1954 in Korea.

Survived by sons, Glen Jay (Carolin) Hensley, Robert (Larene) Hensley; daughters,  Susan Brown (Ken), Lori Gladden; brothers James (Pat) Hensley, Don Hensley; sisters Shirley Thackeray; nieces; and nephews; many grandkids and great-grandkids.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Jean; father and mother; father and mother-in-laws; brother Jerry; daughter LuAnne Smith; grandkids; great-grandkids.

A viewing will be held Monday, May 17, 2021, 12-1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Rd., Taylorsville, Utah, 84123.  Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at  Utah Veterans Memorial Park, Bluffdale, Utah
