Glena Rae Cleveland

February 13, 1940 — December 3, 2017

Glena Rae Cleveland left this earth peacefully on December 3, 2017. Born February 13, 1940 to William Raymond Pinkerton and Erma Irene Wight Pinkerton. She was raised in American Fork, Utah. While attending college, she met Gary McKay Cleveland. They were married April 7, 1961. Together they raised their two children Ellen & David Gary. Glena enjoyed her work in accounting for several years but decided she needed a change. The change was selling Avon. She became the Avon Lady. Taking her business seriously, she received many awards for her hard work and loved every minute of it. Al Anon was my mother's second family for over 40 years. She devoted much of her time and energy helping in any way she could. It was through Al Anon she met her dearest friends. They spent a great deal of time together working on fund raisers, traveling and helping each other see the humor in life's situations. They laughed A LOT. Preceded in death by her parents; brother Brent; husband; and son David; son-in-law Larry Bateman. She is survived by her daughter Ellen; two grandchildren Arianne and Trevor McKay; two great-grandchildren Arabella Irene and David James. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 7th, 12:00 noon at Taylorsville 13th Ward, 1495 W. Tamarack (4520-4615 S.), where a viewing will be held prior to services from 10:30-11:45.
