Glendora Elva Davis

Glendora Davis Glenda Glendora Elva Davis, 89, let her spirit soar on July 8, 2013. She was born on August 9, 1923, in Bostwick, Nebraska to Granville and Blanch Beck Davis. She grew up on a farm in Nebraska during the Depression, which made her extremely strong and independent. Glenda was married to Leo Marcotte (divorced) and Chester Griffiths (divorced). Her strength served her well while raising six children and two step children basically on her own. Glenda is survived by her children: Sandra Shaw, Gary Marcotte, Vicki Benson, Danny Marcotte (Hannah), Denise Blaylock, and Brian Griffiths (Toni); stepchildren, Becky Gonzales (Carl) and Gary Griffiths (deceased). She found great joy in being a grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. The family would like to thank Sandy Regional Health Center and One Care Home Health and Hospice for their loving care of Glenda. A viewing will be held Thursday, July 11, 2013, 10:00-10:30 am at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, UT, followed by a graveside service, 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT.
