Gloria Gail Gunderson Janes

Gloria Gail Gunderson was born to Norma Deseret McBride and Clinton Clyde Gunderson on October 6, 1941, in Inglewood, California. She passed away at her home in West Jordan, Utah on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. She grew up in Southern California and married LeRoy W. Janes on August 6, 1966, in Lawndale, California.  Marriage later solemnized in 1968 in the Los Angeles Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  

Preceded in death by her parents and siblings.  

Survived by her four sons, Kevin (Susan), Dennis (Ginger), Raymond and Even.  Blessed with 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.  

She loved her family immensely and loved her Savior Jesus Christ.  She spent many years serving in the Jordan River Temple, and she loved meeting with her "tea party" sisters from church.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the River 2nd Ward Building, 1380 West 6785 South, West Jordan Utah 84084. Family viewing at 9am, public viewing at 10am, funeral services at 11am, followed immediately thereafter by interment at West Jordan City Cemetery located at 7925 South 1300 West.
