Gordon Olsen Oliverson passed away on July 1, 2023. He was born on Dec 1, 1936, in Preston, Idaho, to Harold and Pearl Oliverson. He was the youngest of 7 children. He learned the value of hard work growing up on the farm. He loved sports and excelled in all, playing on into college at Utah State. He served an LDS mission in the Northwestern States. After returning home he married his sweetheart Katheryne Eames in the Logan Temple. They later served a full-time mission in Canton, Illinois.
Gordon loved singing and shared his beautiful tenor voice with many. He had a big heart that he shared with everyone he met. Though he served in many capacities he only wanted to mention that he loved the Lord with all of his heart and he served Him and his fellowman with both hands for as long as he could.
He made sure that his family had many memories to share. Family vacations, boating, snowmobiling, enjoying the cabin on the Preston homestead, and cousins camp every year. Every child, grandchild, and great-grandchild felt his love and knew that he loved them.
The family would like to thank the staff at Zions Way for the great service and love they showed him.
He is survived by his wife Katheryne Oliverson. His son Brad Oliverson and wife Lisa, their son Dusty, wife Sarah, their boys, August and Bodhi.
