Mary Grace McElprang Paulsen

Mary Grace McElprang Paulsen, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend, age 83, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014. Born March 25, 1931 in Huntington, Utah to William Milton and Jennie Loertscher McElprang. Married Paul J Paulsen March 29, 1948; later sealed in the Manti Temple. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had an unwavering faith and testimony of the Savior. Grace was always Christ-like because of that testimony. She served in various church callings. Retired from Cottonwood Hospital as a LPN. She was an avid reader and loved her sisters very much. She is survived by children: Judith (Bob) Davis, Pauline (Grant) Dansie, Glen (Patty) Paulsen, Alma (Linda) Paulsen, and Janean (Glen) Roach. She is the proud grandmother of 12: Robert (Stephanie) Davis, MaryAnne Schneider, Richard (Angela) Davis, Trenton (Jayme) Davis, Mark Davis, Michelle Baker, Jennifer (Stacy) Maxey, Peter Paulsen, Erin Paulsen, Chancie Rabe, Marshal (Reagan) Paulsen and Christina Roach; 24 great-grandchildren; Robert III, Jessica, Carly, Ryan, Madison, Cache, Abby, Evelyn, Issac, Anthony, Eliza, Megan, Zackary, Kennedi, Spencer, Sidney, Joshua, Braydon, Collin, Brady, Keira, McKaila, Tayler and Tegan; 1 great-great grandson, Oaklen; sisters: Jenece (Kent) Howard, Maudie Breen, Helen (Dave) Fox, LaRue (Keith) Jensen. Preceded in death by husband, Paul; daughter, Joyce; and parents. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the West Jordan 44th Ward, 1899 West 7600 South. Viewings will be held Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
