Gwen Schenk Lott passed away April 9, 2022. She was born March 18, 1936, in Preston, Idaho to Fredrick Jacob Schenk and Clara Evelyn Sjoberg.

Homemaking was a life skill for Gwen.  She loved being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served for 18 years as a temple worker.  She served in several positions in the ward and stake. She also served two missions with her husband in North Dakota and another in the London Temple. She loved her sewing and took pride in her quilts and the skills she learned from her mother.

She is preceded in death by her son Daniel Lott; sisters Leta Lacey, Iva Lou Clark; brothers Eldon Schenk, Verlyn Schenk; parents Fredrick and Clara Schenk.

She is survived by her sister, Laurene; husband, Clain Lott; daughters Dianne (Bill) Martinez, Kathy (Noel) Bowen; son Curt (Trella) Lott; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022, 12:00 noon, at Jordan North 4th Ward building, 4270 South Falcon Street, West Valley City, Utah, where a viewing will precede services from 11:00-11:45 a.m. Interment, Thursday, April 14, 2022, 12:00 noon at Weston City Cemetery.
