Hal and Kimtogether again. Hal F. Wilson passed away on September 1, 2018. He was born in Downey, California to Fairbanks and Carma Wilson (both deceased). Hal was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He joined the Air Force at the young age of 17, and retired as a Master Sgt. with full honors when the Vietnam war was winding down. During his time in the military, he was stationed in California, New Mexico, Minnesota, Bermuda, Hawaii, Vietnam, and Japan. During his 5-year tour in Japan, he met his future wife, Kimiko. He met Japanese General Minoru Genda, who planned the attack on Pearl Harbor. While a low-ranking Airman, he received a dressing down from AF General Roger Ramey, head of the 5th Air Force, and of famed Roswell UFO incident. Hal received numerous awards and commendations during his career in the military. He had many hobbies including fishing, painting, and coin collecting.
