Harold (Bill) Wilson England Jr.

Bill passed away in his Taylorsville home on January 10, 2018 at the age of 74. He was born on June 15, 1943 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Harold Wilson England and Ruth Anderson. Bill grew up in Tooele County spending much of his childhood in Dugway and Grantsville. He attended college at BYU until the Army tried to draft him, instead he joined the Navy, where he enjoyed visiting many parts of the world and getting a lot of good schooling in aircraft avionics. After the Navy he worked in many capacities at a company that is now L-3. He worked there until he retired in 2010. Bill loved the outdoors. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, camping, fishing, hunting, swimming, boating, and scuba diving. He was also a lover of animals. In his life he cared for many dogs and even a few horses. He also loved his family and did his best to support them in any capacity. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed the company of his ward members and his neighbors. Bill is survived by his children, William (Mandy) England of Salt Lake City and Shannon Hughes of West Valley City; sister Ruth Ann England of Cortez Colorado; 2 grandsons; 3 granddaughters; 3 great-granddaughters; and his dog Charlie who now lives happily with Bill and Mandy and Charlies sister Penny. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Bennion Heights Ward, 3555 West 5620 South, Taylorsville, Utah, where a viewing will be held from 10-:00-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Tooele City Cemetery.
