Harold passed away peacefully on February 9, 2016. Born to Harold Vernon Winterton and Susie May Duke on March 11, 1931 in Woodland, Utah. He served 2 years in the army and then served a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Netherlands. He married Laura Marie Christiansen on September 25, 1958 in the Logan Temple. He held many positions in his church. He is survived by his wife, Laura; 11 children, Warren (Colleen), Steve (Sheryl), Dennis (Holli), Ronald, Craig (LynnAnn), Ellen, Larry (Kim), Jerry (Tena), Sandra Eisert (Nathan), Phillip (Laurie), Carolyn Watkins (Dennis); 46 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and his younger siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents; his older siblings; and one grandson. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your church's missionary fund or other charitable organization. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 13, 10:00 a.m., at the Granger Stake Center, 2850 West 3835 South, where viewings will be held Friday, February 12, 6-8:00 p.m., and Saturday, prior to services, 8:30-9:30 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
