He was the second oldest of 15 children born to the late Harold L. and Mary Doris Gotchy. Dad proudly served in the U.S. Navy in WWII during the invasion of Guadalcanal and finally Guam. Dad was a lover of all animals, especially his horses. He loved hunting and fishing. Dad is survived by his 5 children: Janice Furstenfeld, Mavis (Dave) Wheelwright, David (Mae) Gotchy, Cheryl (Jedd) Fisher, Jacqueline (James) Garden; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; 4 sisters; 2 brothers.
