Hartence LeFevre Mortensen Dalton "Tence" Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Hartence LeFevre Mortensen Dalton, died peacefully at home, December 8, 2013, in West Valley City, Utah surrounded by loved ones. She was born August 2, 1928 to Clarence and Alice LeFevre in Circleville, Utah. She attended school in Circleville. Married Hugh Alton Mortensen September 5, 1946 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple; he preceded her in death. Married Jack Dalton in 1980 and spent 23 happy years together; he preceded her in death. She held numerous positions in the LDS Church and was a devoted mother and grandmother. To know Mom was to know what love really was, as she was a very giving, generous person. Survived by her 7 children: Craig (Karen), Mary (Jack), Gary (Brook), and Paul (Nancy), Margaret (Gary), Phillip (Brenda), Troy (Kathy); 6 stepchildren: Jan (Jim), Susan, Ann (Terry), Shawn and Mark; former daughter-in-law, Monica; sister, Louise Dunton; and many grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers; 1 sister; and son, Steven Jay. Mom, we will miss you so much. Say "Hi" to Dad and Steven. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 13, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the Granger 6th Ward, 3274 South Hillsdale Drive (2760 West). Viewings will be held Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
