Heather Alyson Waugh

Heather Alyson Punches Waugh, 50, of Taylorsville, UT, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016. Heather was born in Redondo Beach, California on July 24, 1965. She graduated from Taylorsville High School in Taylorsville, Utah and went on to pursue an education in Cosmetology. Heather married, her soul mate, Jason Waugh, on October 4, 2004; they were married 11 years. Together they made a happy family with their two cats, Nabiki (15), Lucy (12) and dog Bruce (13). Heather was an avid gardener, loving homemaker and crafter and was deeply spiritual. Her passions included the online MMO game World of Warcraft, Doctor Who and Star Trek. Heather is survived by her husband, Jason; father James Punches of Green River, WY; mother Ann (Gary) Underdahl of Pahrump, NV; in-laws Richard and Kathryn Luke of Layton, UT; sisters, Alicia (Chad) Cook of Harrisville, UT, and Sherri Spencer of Vancouver, WA, Denise (Justin) Hedley of Golden, CO; brothers, Revin Floyd of Grants Pass, OR, Ian Punches of Green River, WY; sister-in-law, Julie (Drew) Nielson of Layton, UT; nieces, Nicole Krisch of Lakewood, CO, Misty (Kevin) Elwood of Portland, OR, Cassara Campbell of Mission Viejo, CA, Rhiannon Tyrrell of Rock Springs, WY, Alyson Nielson of Layton, UT; nephews, Connor Tyrrell of Rock Springs, WY, Jonathan Nielson of Layton, UT, Robert Nielson of Layton, UT, Soren Nielson of Layton, UT, Luke Nielson of Layton, UT; and other family and friends. Heather was preceded in death by father-in-law, Thomas Waugh III; and cat Nabika. Memorial services will be held, Saturday, February 27, 2016, 3:00 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.
