After a courageous 3 1/2 year battle with cancer, Heidi has gone to pave the way for the rest of us to follow. After her diagnosis, she decided that she was given this horrible disease for a reason. She concluded that her mission, for the time she had left, was to bring as much comfort and joy to anyone who she came in contact with. She recorded several you tube videos to share Conversations on HOPE that are available for anyone to view. She also wants to remind you that life is full of bumps, bruises and BLESSINGS! Heidi enjoyed a 24 year career working for the OC Tanner company where she made many life long friends. She loved to sing and to travel the world in her flip flops. She is survived by her husband Rex Wangsgaard; son Ty; daughters Whitney and Kerbi Wangsgaard; parents Stan and Elaine Heffner, John Whitman; siblings Stephanie Miner, Chuck (Marcia) Whitman, Richard (Tammy) Whitman, Marc Whitman, Janna ( Brandon) Page, Robert (Lori) Whitman. Special thank you to Dr. G. Weldon Gilcrease and the whole Huntsman Cancer Institute team. In lieu of flowers, Heidi would like you to plan a fun family activity.
