Helen S. Jensen 1917-2013 Helen Seegmiller Jensen, 95, of Bozeman, MT passed away Saturday, March 3, 2013, in the Gallatin County Rest Home. She was born December 2, 1917 in St. George, UT, to Daniel Adam and Juie Hazel Adams Seegmiller. She was raised in St. George the third of eight children. Helen attended Dixie High School graduating with the class of 1936. n 1937, after winning the title, Helen was crowned the 1st St. George Lions Club and American Legion Rodeo Queen. She married Whitney Hewitt Jensen of Richfield, UT, October 25,1939 In the St. George Temple. They began their life together in Salt Lake City eventually relocating to Cedar City, UT where they owned and operated the Jensen Mortuary and began to raise a family. In 1962 the family moved to Bountiful, UT and then in 1996 Whitney and Helen moved to Bozeman, MT to be closer to family. During her life, while raising her children, Helen was involved in many church activities and civic organizations. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Clyde Findley Seegmiller, Woodrow Adams Seegmiller, William (Billy) Wendel Seegmiller, George Burke Seegmiller, Jack Dewane Seegmiller; and sister Beth Seegmiller Dahl. She is survived by her husband Whitney Hewitt Jensen; daughters Judy L. (Dr. Roger H.) Halterman, Janet L. (Dr. James C.) Simmons and Jayne L. (Jim A. Perlinski) Rasmussen of Bozeman, MT; her son Wayne W. Jensen of Salt Lake City and his fianc Occupation:Homemaker
