Horacio Giron

HORACIO GIRON 8-17-1932 ~ 7-26-2012 Horacio Giron, age 79, son of Joe A and Dulcinella Ortiz Giron, born in Petaca, New Mexico, passed away surrounded by his family. Married Rose Mary Gabaldon in 1953. Our Dad played the trumpet for over 35 years in several bands. He loved his music, fishing, hunting and playing poker with family and friends. Survived by his children, Jerry (Melaine), Mike, Debbie (Mark) Casey, Jeanette Giron, Tom, Gloria (Mark) Montoya, Paul and David. 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Siblings: Lola Benavides, Maria Barela, Mrs. Anna (Jose) Giron, Arcela Archuleta, Jenny Herrera, Ellizama (Gilbert) Archuleta, Robert Giron, Ruth (Randy) Trusdell, Diane Sanchez. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Jose R Giron. Viewing and Rosary to be held Wednesday, 8-1-12 from 6 to 8 pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be on Thursday, 8-2-12 at 10:00 am.
