Howard Eugene Stratton passed away on Good Friday, March 25,2016, in Mesa, Ariz. Born and raised in Livingston, Mont., formerly from Helena, Mont. Preceded in death by his parents, Howard W. Stratton and Wilma Stofer (divorced); brothers, Gary Stratton and Richard Stratton; and three great grandchildren. Survived by his spouse, Esther Emily Milner Stratton, who resides in West Jordan,Utah; sister, Linda (Randy)Holland, of Livingston, Mont.; children, Kathleen (Leon) Storms, of Napa, Idaho, Terry (Linda) Stratton, of Missoula, Mont., Douglas (Colleen) Stratton, of Mesa, Ariz., Sherry (Curt) Booth, of Post Falls, Idaho, David (Cheryl) Stratton, of West Jordan, Utah, Daniel (Amy) Stratton, of Queen Creek, Ariz., Pamela (Ed) Self, of So. Euclid, Ohio, Tammie (Thomas) Doyle, of McKinney, Texas, and Grant (Nikki) Stratton, of Helena, Mont; 51 grandchildren; and 82 great-grandchildren. His service touched the hearts of many and changed their lives. Viewings will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, in Taylorsville, and from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., prior to funeral services at 11 a.m., Friday, April 1, at the Heritage LDS 4th Ward, 7336 South 3200 West, in West Jordan.
