Howard Francis Coomes

Howard Francis Coomes 1945 ~ 2013 Howard Francis Coomes lost his battle with cancer on August 8th. Better known as Howie; Dad and Poppy, he was always there for others and wanted nothing more out of life than to enjoy his time with family and friends. From the annual softball tournament in Coalville to the many golf outings across the country, he was always surrounded by great family and friends doing the things he loved. Thank you all for your friendship, it made his life complete. While we are sad to let you go, we know your suffering is over and you are in a better place, which is probably at a Bees game with Dan! A special thank you to all of the friends and family that helped comfort Howard in his final days. Howard is survived by his wife Sue; brother Tom; sister Carolyn; sons Todd and Ryan; grandkids Tayler; Micah; Josie; Riah and Drew. Howard was preceded in death by his mom, Sally; dad, Carroll, and son, Travis. Per Howard s wishes, there will be a wake on Saturday August 17th from 2 to 5 p.m. at Chuckles located at 221 West 900 South in Salt Lake City.
