Ila Mae Crosland

Beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025, at the Intermountain Medical Center located in Murray, Utah.

She was born on June 22, 1936, in Fillmore, Utah to Melvin Rowley and Noma Hansen Rowley. Ila Mae was the second child in a family of six children. She married our father, Phil Stevens Crosland on July 19, 1958, in the Manti Temple in Manti, Utah. Mom raised five children. Mom loved her family more than anything else. They meant the world to her.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many different callings.

Out of the many different jobs she had throughout her life, her favorite was at Stan's Market in Kearns, Utah. She was known as the "earring lady." She probably had over 100 pairs of seasonal earrings.

She is survived by her son Kyle (Patricia) Crosland of Houston, Texas; her daughter Kerri (Dave) Ziegelgruber of West Jordan, Utah; her son Darwin (Sue) Crosland of Syracuse, Utah; her son Eric Crosland of West Valley City, Utah; her daughter Katrina Crosland of Salt Lake City, Utah; her brother Randy (Linda) Rowley of Fillmore, Utah; her sister Pam (Brent) Larson of Hinckley, Utah; nine grandchildren and nine great grand-children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Crosland, her parents, her sister LaNon Fowles, her brothers Larry and Fred, and her grandson Nick.

There will be a public viewing on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at McDougal Funeral Home located at 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. Family and friends may call from 6 until 8 PM.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Park 3rd Ward Building located at 4825 West 7000 South, West Jordan, Utah. The funeral will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until 11:00 AM.

Friends and family may come to a viewing prior to services beginning at 9:00 AM until 9:45 AM.

Dedication of the grave will be by Randy Rowley, brother.
