Ilene B. McDougal Loving Mother Ilene B. McDougal, age 83, died April 21, 2012 peacefully in her sleep at home. She was born August 5, 1928 in South Jordan , Utah, daughter of Royal Victor and Kordine Smith Beckstead. Graduated from Jordan High School. She married Junior Heap Steadman, May 3, 1948; he preceded her in death. Ilene married Daniel W. McDougal December 30, 1964 in the Salt Lake Temple; he preceded her in death. Worked at Kolob insurance, Lennox Furnace, Henry S. Day Ford for 12 years and owned and operated Seville Reception Center for 22 years. Served a LDS Mission in Denver, Colorado. Ordinance worker and assistant supervisor at Jordan River Temple for 12 years. Loved music and serving others. She was a hard working farm girl at heart. Her survivors include: 2 sons, 2 daughters: Mr. Randall P. (Jeannie) Steadman, Mr. Daniel R. (Denise) McDougal, Mrs. Vickie Steadman (Gordon) Bartlett, Mrs. Judy Steadman (Douglas) Moncur; step-children, Mrs. Claudia McDougal (Robert) Bandfield, Mrs. Lynda McDougal (Eppie) Trujillo, Mr. Guy T. (Nancy) McDougal; 31 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. LaRoyce (Richard) Fisher, Mrs. Myrl (Jack) Silcox, Mrs. VaLoy (Ronald) Stowe, Mrs. Koradine (Robert) Schouten; sister-in-law, Mrs. Fern Beckstead. Preceded in death by sisters, Ms. Rela Marie Beckstead, Mrs. Lois Millerberg; brother, Mr. Keith Beckstead. A very special thanks to Leslie Rasmussen, her caring, loving nurse that was always there for her and could always make her smile. Also thanks to Caring Hearth Hospice for the love they gave our mom. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 27, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at the Taylorsville Stake Center, 1400 West 4800 South. Viewings will be held Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church, 11:40 a.m. - 12:35 p.m. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
