Ilene Burt Earl

Ilene Burt Earl 1915 ~ 2012 Ilene Burt Earl, our dear, sweet mother passed away peacefully on September 14, 2012, at the age of 96. She passed at her daughter s home from causes incident to age. She was born December 4, 1915 to David William Burt and Bergetta Marie Nelson. Ilene was the fifth of eleven children. She was preceded in death by all of her siblings. She married Glenn M. Earl on November 30, 1935 and they were later sealed in the L.D.S. Logan Temple. Together they had four daughters: Janice (George) Laney, Patricia (Darl-deceased) Huntsman, Kathleen (Alden-deceased) Parker, & Barbara (Dean) Leary. Ilene has 19 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Glenn; daughter, Barbara; and grandson, John Laney.. She graduated from Box Elder High School and she worked at the Veteran s Hospital in Salt Lake until her retirement. Ilene lead a great life of service, was an excellent example of hard work, and was full of spunk and wit. She will always be remembered and missed by all whose lives she touched. The family would like to express their gratitude to those who have given their support. Funeral serivces will be held Wednesday, September 19, 11:00 a.m. at the Bernina Ward, 3045 W. Bernina Drive. Viewing will be held 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment: Brigham City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
