Our much loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Illean Leona Naylor Breeze Stewart, 86, left us to return to her Heavenly home, after being diagnosed with stomach cancer in August, 2013. Along with other illnesses, she has fought valiantly over the years, passed away on December 13, 2013. Illean was born June 4, 1927 in Mammoth, Utah to Thomas William Naylor and Leona Rose Hicks. Her father passed away when Illean was only 7 years old. Her mother re-married Nickolas Sofonia. Illean is survived by her husband, Marvin Stewart, (West Jordan); daughter-in-law, Jean Breeze, (San Diego, CA.); sons, Jim (Vera) Wallsburg, UT.; Ken (Melinda) West Jordan, UT.; Larry (Patty) West Valley, UT.; Rick (Paula) Taylorsville, UT.; step-sons, Marvin Jr. (Sue) St. George, UT.; Kent (Draper); David (Sally) SLC, UT.; sister LaVon Bolton, Murray, UT.; brother Ronnie (Kris) Sofonia Sandy, UT.; sister-in-law Gayle Naylor; 24 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild on the way. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Earl Carlisle Breeze; son Danny Earl Breeze; grandsons Jeffery Breeze & Spencer Breeze; brothers Dale Naylor & Boyd Naylor; great grandsons (twins) Damen & Deven Pleasant. Illean married her sweetheart Earl, on October 21, 1942. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on October 20, 1958. Although she was only 15 when she married, Illean had her oldest son Danny, when she was only 17. She grew up fast. After 39 years of marriage and the successful rearing of 5 wonderful sons in the Granger and Bennion Utah area, Earl died of cancer in 1982. Illean then married her sweetheart Marvin Stewart on February 20, 1999. He has been by her side from the beginning of their 14 years of marriage and has been patient and loving with her. He will miss her greatly. Illean always dreamed of having a daughter but was satisfied with her boys. They did many things together. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, singing and dancing. They took camping trips together and made wonderful memories. Illean was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for many years and held many callings. Her favorite calling was Primary Chorister. She expressed her thankfulness for all the caregivers from Beehive Center and Hospice, who gave her much happiness and care. Special thanks to Nurse Sussie. She loved you all. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the L.D.S. Chapel, 6695 South 2200 West. A viewing will be Friday, December 20, 2013, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Saturday, 10-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral service.
